Wir waren sehr gespannt, was uns erwartet, da wir keine bisherigen Bewertungen gefunden, die Bilder der Terrasse uns aber überzeugt hatten – und wir wurden mehr als belohnt! Das Haus gehört der liebsten und tollsten italienischen Familie, die wir kennen. Die drei haben ein so großes Herz und haben uns bei jeglichen Problemen geholfen. Wir sind vier junge Damen und haben insgesamt 11 Tage im Casa Ernesto verbracht. Es ist super groß, liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und hat zwei Terrassen mit einem UNBESCHREIBLICH TOLLEN BLICK! Wir haben jeden Abend auf der Terrasse verbracht, um den atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergang bei Meeresrauschen (ja, man hört es sogar da oben auf dem Berg) zu genießen und Siziliens nächtliche Lichter zu sehen. Wenn ihr nach Sizilien wollt: Fahrt unbedingt nach Gioiosa Marea (ein kleiner wunderfeiner Ort) und wohnt im Casa Ernesto! Bessere Vermieter und einen besseren Ausblick bekommt ihr nirgends! Es war traumhaft und wir werden mit Sicherheit nochmal hin fahren!

The house is located on the hills with a great view on Gioiosa Marea, the main town of the cost, and its picturesque bay. Within a 10/15 minutes drive to a number of beaches, both on the northern as well as on the southern part of the island. All in all we had a beautiful experience!

Een lange slingerweg naar boven achter de vriendelijke eigenaren aan, steeds hoger en hoger over een bochtige, maar goede weg…en dan het huis! Grijs en eenvoudig van buiten, maar binnen vriendelijk en comfortabel ingericht, zelfs twee badkamers maar natuurlijk het allerbeste: twee heerlijke terrassen, voor en achter het huis, allebei met uitzicht op zee en de bergen! Of je nu in de zon of de schaduw wilt zitten, het kan allemaal. En wat hebben we genoten daar van de rust, het uitzicht en de omgeving, lekker gewandeld, mooie autotochten gemaakt, kleine dorpjes bezocht, lui geweest… heerlijk allemaal. Ook een dag/avondtocht naar de Eolische eilanden, van uit Milazzo vaart een boot, is best stuk rijden en lastig parkeren…tip: we konden met de bus mee vanuit Gioiosa Marea (even bij reisbureau daar vragen). Lieve familie daar, bedankt voor alle goede zorgen en de snelle service, het was een heerlijke week. Grazie mille per tutto e arriverderci!

The house lived up to our hopes and all of us, 5 adults, enjoyed a wonderful week. It was well equipped and all we wanted was provided. Gioiosa Marea, the beach, and some very nice restaurants are 10 minutes driving. We also used the outdoor BBQ on several evenings and enjoyed warm June weather. We will definitely recommend Gioiosa Marea and this house to others.
